Women in Paris | June 22-29, 2025
Your Facilitator
Jennifer Huxta
Jennifer is a writer, photographer, and artist whose work moves between disciplines—just like the women we study. A long-time resident of Paris originally from Pennsylvania, her experience spans journalism, visual storytelling, and cultural exploration.
As well, her perspective has been shaped by years of reporting beyond France. Jennifer spent six years in Nairobi working as a photographer and journalist, covering stories across East Africa, and has also reported on conservation and ecology in Northern Uganda. Her editorial work has appeared in The New York Times and Le Monde, among others, and she is a recipient of the Davis Fellowship for Peace.
Jennifer sees Paris as a layered collage of past and present, memory and reinvention.
